Commentary:

Some time ago, Lycos found need to modify the guest books and the data for each customer's guest book.  During that process, our guest book apparently went into deep cyberspace.  Any recovery possibility look bleak.  I fired off several (many) nasty email messages containing  unkind comments after receiving only computer generated responses to repeated inquiries.

Then all of a sudden, I received numerous email messages from Lycos project team assuring me they were working very hard to resolve all problems and lo and behold our guest book materialized.  I am satisfied they were doing just that. But upon checking, I found  that each entry in our guest book was now duplicated four times........ Any one reviewing the previous entries would quickly become frustrated looking at each message five times.

I have finally edited this first guest book, because I was unwilling to cast it aside.  The comments contained within are a joy to me and, I suspect will be, as long as I live. If you have made an entry in our guest book, you need to know you are valued for taking a moment to place an entry in our book.

 I appreciate also Lycos working so hard to recover the entries in our guest book.  Editing the entries created an opportunity for me to go back and savor each one.  Each is so special to us!  Thank you for being so kind!!!
